The vane water meters VK (multi-jet) and SV (single-jet) are designed for both municipal and industrial applications. The water flow, after it enters the lower part of the device body, enters the turbine through a series of slit-shaped holes in the form of symmetrical jets that keep the impeller in full balance. The water exits through another series of openings located at the top of the switchgear. This helps to reduce wear on the impeller and mechanism, increase service life and preserve metrological characteristics.
VT turbine water meters are mainly used in industrial or large municipal facilities. The meter is a cast housing with connecting flanges, into which a measuring unit is inserted. The main element of the measuring unit is a turbine with screw blades, the axis of which coincides with the axis of the pipeline.
